Writing in Script

Post by Awakening on Sat Jan 28, 2012 10:26 am

So today was my test for the Biology SAT, and while I'm not going to talk about the test itself, I am going to say that I took a good 5 minutes to copy down a 1 and 1/2 line that stated that I was the person on the ID I showed that was taking the test, that everyone else has to do.

Now, I haven't written anything in script other than my name in YEARS. We only did them around the 3rd Grade. So basically, while it takes everyone else a good minute, I feel the proctor staring at me to finish. And I literally take 5 minutes. I realized then that I forgot a good half of the script letters, how they went, and... It was... Bad. Handed in the test just fine, but... I ended up having this weird mesh of printed letters and script.

Anyone else feel like forgot to write script? I feel like I'm the only one, but I feel like there are people out there that forgot too.

I was never actually taught script, but I sort of figured it out on my own with books and stuff

Is script cursive? Because the teachers at my school hate it when people write in cursive ._.

I find it funny that in elementary school, the teachers told us that we had to learn script because we'd use it throughout high school and college, and now they don't give a shit.

Assuming this is cursive. They never called it script here. I would absolutely die though if I had to do that. Don't remember shit about cursive except my name, s, a, o, and maybe f on a good day.
