Pretty much for what it says on the tin post any Doujin works or Visual Novels you reccomend checking out making sure not to link any that have any [H] Scenes and are appropriate to this site, any of an adult nature will be removed and deleted.

I mean my top picks have to be Bunny Must Die and obviously last but not least the Touhou Project series. Among them the remakes of the Pokemon games into the Touhou universe along with Touhou Mother (A mother 3 spin off) You can go ahead and add the Clannad VN to this too.

Will probably update this list over time so stay tuned =3

I've only got Higurashi to recommend. I mean, it was adapted to an anime, but SN (Sound Novel, hence the more emphasis on the BGM rather than the visuals) was so much better than the anime.
