Round Robin! (a PO tourney)

Hi! This is Lynjabear, with my first tournament ever, and because I have noticed that some nightmare-ers (including myself) do not have DS or Black/White, this will be on PO.





This one is based around a round robin idea. A round robin tournament is a tournament in which every person battles every other person in the tournament. This means there are the same amount of rounds as the number of participants. Because this can be rather lengthly, I will close signups until it has been one week or there are 8 participants. Also, because you don’t play people based on win or loss, you can even schedule everything ahead of time!

This will be an out tournament meaning –

Standard Clauses. Sleep, Freeze, Species, Wi-Fi, Self KO, Ubers Clause



There are no unreleased dream world abilities allowed! Every team should be able to load on the PO server as Overused! Please check, as it is always hard to change your team last minute and any battles involving those invalid pokemon will not count! Also, you must complete a match within 48 hours of the start. I really don’t want this tournament to die, so don’t sign up unless you are sure you can get all of your matches done.

There is one twist in this round robin idea. You will fight your opponent not once in a round, but two times. The first time you battle, use your normal teams. But the second time, you will switch teams. (this is another reason why using PO is so important) Export your team to text and send it to the other person in a PM.


Here is how to export a team –

Open PO, and go to the teambuilder. Click "File" and "Export to text.




A text form of your RMT should show up. Copy the text. Careful! If you have a mini laptop such as mine, you might have to drag the blue part of the label all the way up as in this picture.




Paste it in a PM and send it. It's as easy as that!

To import the team, it's close to the same thing. Copy the RMT someone else sent you, and paste it into PO. To do this, click file, then import to text. CTRL + I is a shortcut. Paste the other person's RMT in the box that should pop up. Click "done" and it should be ready! PM me if you have any issues with this.

Each time you win against another person, your team or no, you earn a point. The person with the most points at the end is the winner! There will also be a winner of the best team built, or the team that wins the most out of the 16 fights.
